Current projects (2015-2016):

We have two mapping projects funded through STATEMAP during 2015-2016. These projects are surficial materials mapping in the Cabot Quadrangle and in the Town of Monkton. Groundwater resource maps will also be produced for these areas. We are pleased to have Monkton partner with us to conduct the water well location project and to help contact landowners.

Other projects for 2015-2016 include groundwater quality sampling, water well logging and analyses in the Champlain Valley and at other locations throughout Vermont, till geochemistry for geochemical landscape and water resource applications in the Montpelier one-degree sheet, and landslide hazard analyses for the Town of Highate.
